Naturally, these benefits aren’t worth that much if your bus doesn’t run well and last a good long time. That’s why we invest more in quality than any other manufacturer in our industry. To make sure your bus is easy to maintain and lasts longer, we offer:
- Rust-proof bodies – From Henry Ford’s day (1914), nearly all vehicles had steel bodies. Steel offered lots of advantages – it was readily available, moldable and strong; that is, it was strong until it rusted. To overcome this pitfall, we introduced the industry’s first steel-reinforced composite bus body in 1979. Pound for pound, it’s stronger and more resilient than steel and completely rust-proof.
- Rust-proof frames – Unlike other buses’, our door frames, wheelchair lift frames and step wells are made with stainless steel to ensure these critical, exposed areas will last.
- Advanced corrosion protection – Of course, our composite bodies won’t rust, but we still protect them with a glass-hard gel coat that guards them from pollutants like gasoline, diesel fuel and commercial cleaners. And, we seal all our exterior steel surfaces with a powder coat that’s stronger and longer-lasting than paint.
- User-friendly wiring systems –Trouble-shooting the wiring systems in other buses is like reeling in miles of wet spaghetti. Not in your ElDorado National bus, though. When you want to upgrade or trouble-shoot a component, it’s easy because our wiring systems are simple, conveniently located and easily upgradeable. Even better, we offer self-diagnosing wiring systems on some models.
- Easy-to-clean interior finishes – Our standard gel-coated composite walls and ceilings are super easy to clean – just wipe with a cloth and any ordinary cleaner, and the interior will always look like it did the day you drove your bus off the lot.
